Berdasarkan <a href=\"https:\/\/jurnal.fk.uisu.ac.id\/index.php\/ibnusina\/article\/view\/798\">studi<\/a> terbaru, hampir setengah (45%) dari total kalori yang dikonsumsi masyarakat Indonesia pada tahun 2020 berasal dari makanan ultra-proses (UPF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Konsumsi produk makanan ultra-olahan melonjak tinggi, dengan anak-anak dan remaja menjadi konsumen terbesar. Namun, di balik kemudahannya tersimpan risiko kesehatan serius jika dikonsumsi secara salah dan berlebihan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artikel ini mengulas berbagai risiko kesehatan yang mengejutkan, berdasarkan temuan ilmiah terbaru\u2014agar kita lebih bijak dalam memilih makanan sehari-hari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Apa Itu Makanan Ultra Processing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Makanan ultra processing (UPF) merupakan produk yang melalui banyak tahap industri dan mengandung minimal lima bahan tambahan seperti pengawet, pemanis buatan, perasa, pewarna, atau penstabil. Contohnya:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Makanan instan: mi instan, nugget, sosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Camilan kemasan: keripik, biskuit, permen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minuman:<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wecare.id\/batasi-konsumsi-soda-untuk-menghindari-efek-samping-berbahaya\/\"> soda,<\/a> jus kemasan bergula tinggi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Makanan siap saji: pizza beku, burger<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Bahan baku alami hampir hilang, digantikan oleh lemak terhidrogenasi (minyak cair yang diubah jadi lemak yang lebih padat, stabil, dan tahan lama), pati termodifikasi, dan isolat protein (protein murni yang diracik untuk menciptakan rasa &#8220;hyper-palatable&#8221; (sangat enak dan susah berhenti).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dampak Makanan Ultra Processing Jika Salah Konsumsi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Meskipun UFP mudah ditemukan dan praktis dikonsumsi, dampak negatifnya baru akan terasa jika dikonsumsi secara berlebihan atau dalam jangka panjang. Berikut adalah berbagai risiko kesehatan yang dapat timbul akibat pola konsumsi makanan ultra processing yang tidak tepat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Memicu Obesitas dan Gangguan Metabolik<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Studi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/cell-metabolism\/fulltext\/S1550-4131(19)30248-7\">Cell Metabolism<\/a> (2023) membuktikan: orang yang mengonsumsi UPF mengasup 500 kkal lebih banyak per hari daripada saat makan makanan segar.
