Tak heran jika buah ini banyak kita jumpai di pasaran. Buah longan bisa dimakan secara langsung, dikemas dalam bentuk buah kaleng, dikeringkan, atau dicampur ke dalam makanan pencuci mulut atau dalam saus. Longan juga biasa menjadi buah pendamping minuman koktail.<\/p>\n<p>Manfaat kesehatan dari buah longan sendiri beragam, beberapa di antaranya yang paling menonjol meliputi:<br \/>\n1.Kemampuan buah longan untuk meningkatkan asupan<strong>\u00a0vitamin C<\/strong>\u00a0dalam tubuh.<br \/>\nSering mengonsumsi buah longan dapat menjaga Anda dari kondisi tekanan darah tinggi,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/meetdoctor.com\/article\/ciri-ciri-penyakit-jantung-koroner\"><strong>penyakit jantung<\/strong><\/a>, penyakit degenerasi makular akibat pertambahan usia serta berbagai tipe kanker. Longan yang dimakan langsung memiliki kekayaan vitamin C, dengan jumlah 84 miligram dalam 3.5 ons buah longan. Jumlah vitamin C ini sudah setara dengan 93 persen rekomendasi asupan vitamin C harian bagi tubuh, yaitu sebanyak 90 miligram bagi pria dan 100 persen bagi wanita, yaitu 75 miligram bagi wanita.<\/p>\n<p>2.Memperkuat tulang<br \/>\nPara wanita yang sudah memasuki masa\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/meetdoctor.com\/article\/diet-sehat-untuk-menopause\"><strong>menopause<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0secara otomatis akan memiliki kadar mineral tembaga yang menurun sehingga berisiko terkena\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/meetdoctor.com\/article\/cegah-osteoporosis\"><strong>osteoporosis<\/strong><\/a>. Para pria membutuhkan sekitar 1.3 miligram vitamin jenis ini setiap harinya, sementara para wanita membutuhkan 1.1 miligram per hari. Kekurangan kandungan riboflavin dapat menyebabkan risiko menderita berbagai penyakit mata, terutama penyakit katarak.\u00a0Di dalam longan, terdapat sekitar 0.14 miligram riboflavin di setiap 3.5 ons sajiannya. Longan yang dikeringkan memiliki sekitar 0.5 miligram per sajiannya.
