Hal ini disebabkan karena pria dan wanita memiliki komposisi tubuh yang berbeda. Rumusnya adalah:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022<strong> Pria: Berat badan ideal (kg) = [tinggi badan (cm) \u2013 100] \u2013 [(tinggi badan (cm) \u2013 100) x 10 persen]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Wanita: Berat badan ideal (kg) = [tinggi badan (cm) \u2013 100] \u2013 [(tinggi badan (cm) \u2013 100) x 15 persen]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kalkulator BMI (<em>Body Mass Index<\/em><\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalkulator BMI menggunakan tinggi dan berat badan sebagai penentu berat badan ideal. Selain itu, perhitungan ini tidak berpatokan pada jenis kelamin melainkan pada usia. Dengan kalkulator BMI, kita bisa tahu apakah berat badan kita berlebih atau tidak.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara menghitungnya adalah:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Berat badan ideal = Berat badan (kilogram): Tinggi badan (meter)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jika hasilnya melebihi 25 maka berat badan kita berlebih. Sedangkan jika hasilnya kurang dari 18, angka ini mengindikasikan berat kita kurang atau <em>underweight<\/em>. Jika angka BMI berada pada kisaran 18,8 hingga 25, maka berat badan yang kita miliki tergolong normal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Indeks Massa Tubuh<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cara menghitung berat badan ideal <\/strong>berikutnya<strong> <\/strong>adalah dengan indeks massa tubuh (IMT). Sama halnya dengan BMI, IMT juga mengukur berdasarkan tinggi dan berat badan serta bisa diterapkan untuk pria maupun wanita. Rumus menentukan berat badan ideal dengan IMT adalah berat badan (kg) dibagi tinggi badan (dalam meter kuadrat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apabila hasilnya kurang dari 18,5, maka berat badan kita masih di bawah proporsional. Berikut beberapa manfaat yang perlu kamu tahu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Terhindar Dari Aterosklerosis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Aterosklerosis<\/em> adalah penyempitan dan penebalan arteri disebabkan penumpukan plak di dinding arteri. Penumpukan plak disebabkan adanya kerusakan pada dinding dalam arteri (<em>endothelium<\/em>). <em>Endothelium<\/em> sendiri berfungsi menjaga kelancaran aliran darah. Tumpukan plak bisa berupa zat lemak, kalsium, kolesterol, dan <em>fibrin <\/em>(zat dalam tubuh).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plak yang muncul bisa memicu adanya penyumbatan peredaran darah dan oksigen dari arteri ke organ tubuh. <em>Aterosklerosis<\/em> tergolong dalam penyakit <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wecare.id\/2017\/12\/7-kiat-menjaga-jantung-sehat\/\">jantung<\/a>. Namun, tidak menutup kemungkinan <em>aterosklerosis<\/em> juga terjadi di bagian tubuh lain seperti <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wecare.id\/2018\/12\/sayangi-ginjal-dengan-mengikuti-gaya-hidup-sehat-ini\/\">ginjal<\/a>, otak, atau kaki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Menurunkan Resiko Diabetes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Orang yang berhasil menurunkan berat badan, walaupun hanya beberapa kilogram, berhasil menurunkan resiko <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wecare.id\/2020\/10\/mengenal-hari-diabetes-sedunia-dan-sejarahnya\/\">penyakit diabetes<\/a>.
